Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2025
1. General Information
1.1. The TapNote application (hereinafter: the Application) is offered by AppMagic sp. z o.o. | NIP 5492480154, registered in Poland, and enables users to create notes and study materials, such as quizzes and flashcards, based on uploaded audio files.
1.2. By using the Application, the User accepts these Terms of Service.
2. Registration and Use of the Application
2.1. Access to the Application requires creating an account via Google or Apple.
2.2. Registration requires providing first name, last name, and email address.
2.3. The User declares that they:
- are at least 13 years old,
- provide true and current data during registration.
3. User-Generated Content
3.1. The Application transforms audio files uploaded by the User into transcriptions and notes using artificial intelligence.
3.2. All rights to content uploaded and generated in the Application remain the property of the User.
3.3. The Company is not responsible for content uploaded by Users.
4. Usage Rules
4.1. It is prohibited to use the Application in a manner that violates the law, including:
- uploading illegal content,
- spamming or attempting to interfere with the Application's operation.
4.2. In case of violation of these rules, the User's account may be suspended or deleted.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
5.1. The Application offers access to features on a subscription basis, which is billed cyclically through the App Store and Google Play.
5.2. The User may cancel the subscription at any time. Access to features remains active until the end of the paid period.
5.3. Refunds for started subscription periods are not offered.
5.4. The free trial period is available once per device. Attempts to reactivate the trial period after it has been used may be automatically rejected by the App Store or Google Play system. Detailed information about the availability of the trial period, its duration, and the start date of the paid subscription are ALWAYS displayed directly before confirming the purchase in the App Store or Google Play and are binding.
5.5. With a semi-annual subscription, the user receives a one-time limit of transcription minutes for the entire 6-month period. The free trial period is part of this subscription - any minutes used during the trial period are deducted from the allocated limit and are not renewed after the trial period ends.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. The Application does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and may be periodically unavailable for technical reasons.
6.2. The Company is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of the Application.
7. Technical Support and Contact
7.1. In case of technical problems, the User may contact the support team by writing to: team@tapnote.app.
7.2. The Company commits to responding as quickly as possible.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
8.1. The Company reserves the right to change these Terms of Service.
8.2. The User will be informed of any changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
9. Termination of Agreement
9.1. The User has the right to delete their account and all personal data through the settings section in the Application.
9.2. The Company reserves the right to delete the User's account in case of violation of these Terms.
10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1. These Terms are governed by Polish law.
10.2. Any disputes arising from the use of the Application will be resolved by the competent court in Poland.
